What’s up for the CFMBC Women 2016-2017

2016-2017 Women’s Ministry Theme:“Climbing In High Heels” Habakkuk 3:19a “The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.” Psalm 18:30-33 As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.31 For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God? 32 It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure. 33 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights”

2016-2017 Women’s Ministry Meeting Schedules: 

• Cell / Support Groups meet – 1st & 4th Tuesdays  

• General Studies – 2nd & 3rd Tuesdays  

Proposed study for 2016-2017: Living Free (Beth Moore) Learning to Pray God’s Word. 

Beth Moore says the practice of “breathing Scripture” by praying God’s Word has changed her life.  As you learn to pray Scripture, you’ll realize the life God desires for you.  Bible study and Scripture-focused prayer will bring renewed purpose and joy to your life. Living Free is an insightful study that will help you discover just how much God wants you to live a life of freedom. 

Learn to replace false strongholds with true freedom in Christ as well as begin to understand more fully the five benefits available to every believer: 

Benefit 1:  Know God and believe Him (Isaiah 43:10) 

Benefit 2:  Glorify God (Isaiah 43:7) 

Benefit 3:  Find satisfaction in God (Isaiah 55:2) 

Benefit 4:  Experience God’s peace (Isaiah 48:18) 

Benefit 5:  Enjoy God’s presence (Isaiah 43:2-3)
